A graduate of Economics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, Ernest is born into a large family in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. He began his search for meaning and purpose in life quite early at a very tender age of eight. He had lots of questions about God and man's purpose here on earth. Unfortunately his parents could not provide answers to his questions even though they tried

In his quest for meaning and purpose, Ernest began to read occultic books in addition to being heavily involved in African paganism. But none of these gave him satisfaction and fulfillment. "If there is a God, how can one really come to know Him?" Ernest found himself asking this question in several ways.

His search for meaning and purpose finally came to an end in August 1977 when one of his elder brothers, Crediton, who was visiting home from Lagos (then the capital of Nigeria), sat him down and presented to him the ever-fresh story of God's love and forgiveness found only in Christ Jesus. "Jesus came to give abundant life to all who would believe in Him," Crediton kept on emphasizing to Ernest that memorable evening. These were the words that finally broke Ernest down and on that evening of August 1977, he finally believed in the saving grace of God found only in the Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ alone.

Nothing dramatic happened, but like a jig saw puzzle, everything about him thereafter began to fall in place. Peace, purpose, pardon for sin, power over sin, etc., all became his. It is now over 27 years since Ernest came to personal faith in Christ Jesus, and in his own words: "nothing can be more wonderful and rewarding, nothing can be more important."

You too can discover the abundant presence of the peace of God, purpose for life, pardon from sin, power over sin and above all be a recipient of the Creator's wonderful plan for your life. You too can discover the sweetness and joy of life by believing in the saving grace of God found only in Jesus Christ alone. This comes by faith alone in Christ alone. Would you believe?

Ernest got himself a wife, Adeline on the 22nd of August 1992. Adeline is a beautiful telecommunication technologist and she is Ernest's "soul mate." Their union is blessed with two wonderful and beautiful girls, Oghenerukevwe (Rukky) and Eloho (Chinelo).
