There is no doubt whatsoever that our spiritual life is infinitely more important than any facet of life.  Therefore it is important that we give priority to its development.  The only way the believer can effectively do this is to make Bible Doctrine our number one priority in life.

A good chunk of false doctrine and human philosophy will flow unabated in the stream of consciousness of the believer who interprets Christianity only from the viewpoint of prevailing cultural and economic settings.   Besides, his perception of God and His Word will be blurred, resulting in a shallow expression of the Christian life.

Doctrine is the mind of Christ as revealed in Scriptures.  It is a system of thinking that reflects the mind of God as revealed in His Word that is rightly divided.  With this I dare to say that there is absolutely no problem in life that the believer cannot surmount provided he is willing to tackle it God’s way.  It is therefore imperative for every believer to pursue doctrine so as to properly execute his spiritual portfolio.  This is the great challenge before us.
